The Pyramid Plastics Quality Department is at the core of our operations. Our team of highly trained quality engineers and inspectors take an active approach to ensure that everyone is meeting these high standards.
Our Quality Engineers and interdisciplinary teams practice the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process. Each project goes through a complete APQP procedure that ensures proper documentation and communication flow through our various departments. Quality of every product is assured through our quality control system including incoming inspection, shop practice standards, in-process verification, and final inspection.
We maintain traceability throughout the manufacturing process through barcode scanning. Each time a raw material or component arrives, it gets a unique serial number. Traceability continues throughout production, to the completed product, and when shipped. We can trace our parts back to the machine operator, date & time of manufacturing, and all movements of raw material and finished goods.
Our Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) are highly adaptive to our customer's requirements. We can adapt, serve, and cater to your needs ranging from level 1 to level 5 PPAPs for new parts, design changes, or process changes. We are experienced in conducting PPAPs for industries such as medical, automotive, aerospace, and consumer products.
We use the latest technology and process controls to ensure our customer requirements and tight tolerances are met. The quality lab uses a Micro-Vu CMM equipped with vision system technologies and capabilities to measure basic to intricate parts. The vision system runs rapid tests for faster, more accurate measurements.
